Fluor was awarded the contract to assume total responsibility as managing contractor for the Underground Connect Project. In this role, we executed a $500 million contract for the $2 billion project.
We designed and installed a new integrated two-way radio and transmission system across the entire London Underground network of 300 stations. Our design of the system included 750 km of radio frequency (RF) cable and 320 km of fiber-optic cable
The team worked 1.5 million safe hours without a lost-time accident.
