Fluor provided program management consulting services for a portfolio of Harvard University projects including the Northwest Science Building.
The Northwest Lab provides the university science community with open and flexible laboratory spaces to encourage interdisciplinary research clusters.
The project included:
210,000 square feet above ground
260,000 square feet below ground
Flexible lab space to accommodate collaborative research and teaching efforts from multiple disciplines
Below ground construction created using up/down construction technology with slurry-wall construction
Utility plant, specimen storage, pedagogical spaces and some lab facilities contained in the below ground areas
