Executive Summary
Fluor provided project management and construction management services for all six planned phases of this mixed-use development covering more than 500 acres on Grand Cayman.
The vertical construction includes multiple parking structures, retail centers, multi-story commercial office buildings and schools.
The project received the 2010 Governor's Award, recognizing design and construction excellence in the Cayman Islands. The projects were judged on creativity and innovation, sustainability and the environment, value, buildability and cultural response.
Fluor's Solution
Our involvement in the project began with design management services and expanded to include project and construction management, procurement, planning and scheduling, shipping/logistics and estimating services with pull-through services.
The development features a marina with an extensive canal system for boating and world-class amenities throughout.
The Town Center consists of 13 buildings providing:
