Fluor's Solution
Fluor provided procurement, project management and construction management services. Phase 1 of the project comprised a 450,000 t/a state-of-the-art board machine, auxiliary facilities, including power plant, fresh water treatment, effluent treatment and necessary infrastructure. The project employed 5,500 construction workers at peak.
Conclusion
The board machine started operations in May 2016, followed by the CTMP line scheduled to start operations by the end of the same year.
In 2016, the National Safety Council recognized the project with the Million Work Hours Award for exceptional safety performance.
